Last night at the Piston

Thanks to everyone who came out and made Sunday night feel like the real boss of the week. (Eat it, Saturday) The cheeseburger heat lamp/stage lights really helped us get our sweat on and as of this morning we are a couple of slightly skinnier bitches.

Monroe, who drove down from Montreal in a clown car (plus a regular one) have really kicked it up a notch since I last saw them. Pat, their newest addition on vocals and guitar helped turn up the EPIC on their rock anthems. Youth Season (and their fans) brought it with great melodies and slick guitar arrangements. It was no surprise at the end when their fans yelled for more.

Thanks to our friend Simeon Ross of "Shoot the Image" for gracing the event with his photo-stylings. I'm gonna post more jpegs and video in the next day or month or so.

It's in our neighbourhood, so Robyn's gonna walk there and it's gonna look like this. (Except she's gonna get her hair did, so she'll have bangs - in which case this photo is a bad example of what the walk and show will be like)
